Anna university is one of the top colleges in the Tamil Nadu. University gives whatever a student need for his or her studies. Getting into this kind of institution is not a simple thing. Fortunately I got that opportunity.

For us Regulation 2015 is followed for the course curriculum. In this regulation, if we have arrear in odd sem, we can only write the arrear exam in odd sem only. If we have arrear in even sem we can write the arrear exam in even sem only. In our regulation, exam structure is consist of internal exam 50% (assessments 1+ assessment2 +assignments) and external exam(semester exam) 50%. Totally we have to score 50% as pass mark.

There is demand for B.tech in Leather technology in all over the world. So there is 100% of job opportunities and 99% of job placements within the campus itself. Yes, our college offer internship courses for diploma students from other regions in India. For that contact CLRI.

International Leather symposium, Environmental work shop are the important events celebrated by our department. Techofes, Kalakrithi and many other departmental symposium are celebrated in our college.

Fee structure is feasible. Since it is a government college, college fee is affordable for almost everyone. For hostellers, hostel fees and mess fees are to be paid. Many organisations are also came forward to give scholarships for the students who are difficult to pay their fees.

Actually i didn't availed or applied for any of the scholarship, because fortunately my parents are well in their financial status to pay my fees. So i didn't know about scholarship. But many scholarships are offered by the government and many other organisations.

All kind of lab facilities are available for each and every department. We have large sports ground for cricket and events with gallery for seating. Volley ball court, basketball court, foot ball court also available.

Yes, we have well maintained alumni centre in our college. It is very helpful for our seniors. No is permitted inside the campus other than currently studying students. But they allow alumni for their interaction with the faculty and library.

After completing my 12th standard public exam,I applied for engineering admission. Since I studied in biology group, I write my NEET entrance exam. Unfortunately I'm failed in just 3 marks. So i went for engineering counselling. Because of my good marks in 12th standard, some courses in ACT campus of Anna university is available for me. Among Textile technology, Printing technology, Leather technology, Apparel technology, Rubber and plastic technology, I chose Leather technology course.

For our Leather technology, most of the faculty are research scientists. They are good in teaching and most of them are well experienced. Whatever the questions we raise, the faculty listens it patiently and give explanation for every silly questions we ask.
