Remarks
Everything in this college are good but if the hostel facility start it becomes greatest college in India. I heard that the college authority plan to build hostel but don't know the authenticity of this rumors.
Course Curriculum Overview
My subject was mathematics. Though the subject is tough but there are some great teacher who made the subject digestible for you. The exam pattern was yearly basis, now it is semester basis once in 6 months.
Placement Experience
There is no promised opportunity after the course complete but they prepare you to take any challenges for getting a job. And there is no internship. But those who did PhD get some money for 5 years.
College Events
As this is a college under Ramakrishna Missions lot of events celebrated on swami Vivekananda and also we celebrate national important days. 12 January, birthday of Swami Vivekananda celebrate greatly in our college. And also yearly sport, cultural fest, Saraswati puja etc celebrated in our college
Fee Structure And Facilities
College took a yearly fees ( average 5700/- in my time, 2013-2016).but in the time of exam they took 500-600/- (as you subject choose). No other hidden fees. But now the college is autonomous and exam structure is changed. But I think the college took litte bit more fees then other colleges, and also if you look the infrastructure and environment they provide for your study its okay to pay the hiped fees.
Fees and Financial Aid
No, there is no loan facility in our college as the fees is bearable almost all parents. But if you are eligible for scholarship from another sources, the college help you to get the scholarship from every angles.
Campus Life
Labs, they are so good. The quality of lab it has, some of the universities do not provide such labs. As the college has some great teachers and the place to research, the labs equipped with great instruments.
Alumni/Alumna
Of course they are helpful. They provide you the best guidelines about the college. They help to search for external tuition if you needed( though the college's teachers are enough). As there is no hostel system they provide there knowledge to find a good mess.
Admission
I enter the college in 2013 when the entrance process not introduced. I admit the college by direct admission depends on my number got on higher secondary. And when the particular cota completed then the rest of the student admitted on the number basis.
Faculty
They are not only faculty but our guardians,and very helpful to ease your future path. I remember once a student didn't pay his yearly fees due to poverty but some kind teacher help him during the course a lot.
