The British Council has launched the GREAT Scholarships 2026–27, offering new funding opportunities for Indian students seeking to pursue postgraduate degrees in the United Kingdom. The initiative is part of the UK government’s GREAT Britain campaign, in collaboration with select UK universities.

For the upcoming academic cycle, the British Council has confirmed 12 scholarships exclusively for Indian nationals, each providing at least £10,000 to offset tuition fees for eligible one-year taught master's in UK.

The scheme aims to support academically strong students seeking specialised, globally recognised UK postgraduate training while strengthening long-standing educational partnerships between India and the UK.
