The University of Wolverhampton has introduced the Lord Paul Excellence Scholarships for the 2025-26 academic year. It offers merit-based tuition fee reductions from £1,000 to £4,000 (1.22 to 4.88 lakhs INR), depending on academic performance across undergraduate, postgraduate taught, and Master of Research programs. Named after Lord Swaraj Paul, an Indian-born British industrialist and former Chancellor of the university, the scholarship scheme combines financial support with symbolic relevance for international, particularly Indian, applicants considering UK higher education.
