I applied to 2 universities viz. Kingston university , Queens university and Kings college London. I was accepted at Kingston University and Queens University (Queens university offered a scholarship as well) I was rejected from Kings College because I was too late to apply as their course start dates were different and I was facing some issues with my visa at that point. I chose Kingston University because it had modules that aligned well with my career goals. The application process was pretty straightforward. Apply through the portal along with all the required documents, and then I received an unconditional offer from the university. After accepting that offer, I had an interview with the university officials. Once that was cleared, I got my visa and medical documents and sent those to Uni. After that, I received CAS, and that was it. I had to appear for IELTS. They had a lower limit of 6 bands in IELTS. As I mentioned earlier, it was quite simple. I had no issues whatsoever. I applied for the September intake. All the people I spoke to and had contacted prior to applying to universities had told me that September is the major intake and it gives you the best student experience. Also, the September intake had a placement option as well. The location was also favourable as it is near Central London.  Steps to get admission are simple, first you need to apply to university then wait for their response. After getting admitted you have to clear one interview for eligibility. Provide the required documentation and results and pay the fees. Kingston university you need to take IELYS and score above 6.5. Eligibility criteria differs according to your course  I applied to September 2023 intake as I completed my bachelor’s degree in April. But due to some reason I had to defer my intake to January 2024 The procedure takes up to 4-5 Months. It also depends upon time taken by the university to verify your documentation. I have applied to almost 5 universities across the UK. I got shortlisted in 4 universities such as Coventry University, Kingston University, University of Chester, University of Leicester and didn't get any response from University of Leeds. I literally had no clue why Leeds didn't accept my application. However, it was not my first priority as it was purely a management course with expensive tuition fee of 30,000 pounds. My decision is influenced by the student life and location of the university. Also, I considered universities with better QS world ranking on my particular course. The admission process was quite straight forward with fewer steps like Pre CAS interview and final CAS statement. My university had a criteria with 6.5 or above in IELTS. The overall experience is good and well structured for the post graduates. The only challenge I faced is the submission of financial documents as they expect few specific formats thereby rejecting bank statements if they have all information with a different format. I applied to the September 2024 intake. The application process depends on individual document submission. It can be completed in a month also. Pre CAS interview may arrive after a week you got the confirmation mail. Once the interview is done, under 2 weeks we'll receive the final CAS statement after verification of financial documents.
