What Students Say
Likes
- I liked the teaching faculty, course modules, and assignments.
Dislikes
- I disliked the lack of support provided to international students in terms of academics and daily activities.
Required Exams for Admission
I chose this university as it was being advertised as a great university for marketing students, interesting modules that sparked my interest and were relevant to the course. Career prospects were great.
Course Curriculum
Course curriculum was designed in a way that it had minimal industrial exposure but highly relevant. The course and the modules were also well organised.
Faculty
Student to faculty ratio was great, for every 20 students there was a teacher present unless of course the courses across the board had the same module, wherein classes were merged.
Campus Life
Not a lot, unfortunately. There were hardly any events and/or extra curricular activities and one couldn’t network much. However, the library and wifi facilities were great.
Placement
The placement program was highly disappointing. The companies that were present were not looking at the requirements of international students and the limitations on their visas. From the entire batch, only one student received a placement position.
Accommodation
I had to settle for private accommodation as there were limited accommodation options from the university and they were all booked way in advance. I lucked out with the private accommodation plan, however, this wasn’t the case for everyone.
Exams
- IELTS entrance exam requirements were 6.5 or above. My score - IELTS- 7 - ICSE- 75% (10th); ISC- 77% (12th) B.M.M- 89% (degree) - Requirements: Yes, I had to submit LoRs from my previous workplace and one SoP as a requirement from the university.
