What Students Say
Likes
- Great campus, faculty and education.
Dislikes
- Lacked placement opportunities for all.
Course Curriculum
- The course syllabus is quite relevant. Little wet lab work as well, which should be more. 1 to 3 classes a day
- Around 35 to 40 students in class
Admission Experience
- The course is most aligned with what I wanted to study. It's also a Russel Group University.
- An IELTS score was required, but apart from that, it was only your BSc scores, statement of purpose, and letters of recommendation.x
Faculty
- Good student-to-faculty ratio. Most are friendly and helpful. Go on a first-name basis mostly.
Campus Life
- 3 main campuses spread across Nottingham, with many clubs and events. Good research facilities, gym membership at a discounted rate.
Part Time Jobs
- Not many TA/RA roles, part-time roles taken up by undergrads, and roles available through Unitemps.
Placement
- I don't have a full-time job, and the job market is currently tough.
Accommodation
- Lived off campus in private accommodation meant for students. Got it through Amberstudent and a local letting company called CP Walker.
Exams
- Your BSc scores, statement of purpose, and letters of recommendation. IELTS requirements depend on education
Fees
- In the 2023-2024 intake, it was GBP 28,600 for International MSc students
