  • Smaller BTEC/OCR Qualifications: Diploma, Extended Certificate, Introductory Diploma, Subsidiary Diploma (accepted with A Levels).

• Irish Leaving Cert:
  • 96 UCAS points, 5 subjects, 4 at Higher Level.
  • H6 (Higher) or O4 (Ordinary) in English.
• Scottish Highers: CCCCC.
• Scottish Advanced Highers: DDD.
• International Baccalaureate: Minimum 24 points, 12 at Higher Level.
• Access to HE (NI): 55% (120 credit Access Course).
• Access to HE (GB): 45 credits at Merit (60 credit Access Course).
• GCSE: Grade C/4+ in English or Level 2 Certificate in Essential Skills.
• HND: Overall Merit, 15 distinctions at Level 5 for Year 1 entry.

• IELTS (Academic): Overall 6.0, with 5.5 in each section.
• PTE Academic: 55, with a minimum of 51 in each part.
• TOEFL iBT: 80, with minimum section scores: Listening: 17, Reading: 18, Speaking: 20, Writing: 17.
• LanguageCert International ESOL: Overall 65 with no element below 60.
• Cambridge Advanced English: 169 overall, with no less than 162 in each element.
• Cambridge English Business Higher: Grade C with all parts 'weak' or higher.
• Cambridge B2 First: 169 overall, with no less than 162 in each element.
• Cambridge Proficiency in English: 176 overall, with no less than 162 in each element.
• Oxford Test of English (OTE): 126 overall with no contributing module score below 111.
• Skills for English: SELT: B2 Pass.

• Occupational English Test (OET): C+.
