Academic Qualification

• A-Level requirement: BBC, with the option to substitute the third grade using recognized alternative qualifications.
• BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma / OCR Level 3 Extended Diploma:
  • Grade Require: DMM.
  • Smaller BTEC/OCR Qualifications: Accepted with A Levels or other Level 3 qualifications ((e.g., Diploma, Extended Certificate).
• Irish Leaving Certificate: 112 UCAS Tariff Points, including a minimum of five subjects (four at Higher Level), with English at H6 (Higher Level) or O4 (Ordinary Level).
• Scottish Highers: Grades BBCCC.
• Scottish Advanced Highers: Grades CCD.
• International Baccalaureate: Minimum 25 points overall (including 12 at Higher Level)
• Access to Higher Education (HE): Overall profile of 63% (120-credit Access Course) with subject requirements (NI Access Course).
• Access to Higher Education (HE) (GB Access Course): Overall profile of 15 credits at distinction and 30 credits at merit (60-credit Access Course).
• GCSE:
  • GCSE Pass at Grade C/4 or above in English Language (for full-time study).
  • Level 2 Certificate in Essential Skills: Communication Accepted as equivalent to GCSE English.
• HND: Pass HND with overall Merit to include 45 distinctions in level 5 credits.

• HNC: Pass HNC with overall Distinction to include 75 distinctions in level 4 credits.

• BBCCC: Grades in Scottish Highers (B in two subjects, C in three subjects).
• CCD: Grades in Scottish Advanced Highers (C in two subjects, D in one subject).
• DMM: Distinction in one subject and Merit in two subjects.
• HNC: Higher National Certificate.
• HND: Higher National Diploma.

• 3-Year Diploma: Diploma in Engineering or Technology with overall 60%.
• Grade B: 60% in Indian Standard XII or CBSE/CISCE Standard X.
• Grade C: 50% in Indian Standard XII or CBSE/CISCE Standard X.
• English Language: 70% (Pass in English Core) in CBSE/ICSE or State Boards of Maharashtra, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka.

English Language Requirement

• IELTS (Academic): Overall 6.0, with 5.5 in each section.
• PTE Academic: 55, with a minimum of 51 in each part.
• TOEFL iBT: 80, with minimum section scores: Listening: 17, Reading: 18, Speaking: 20, Writing: 17.
• LanguageCert International ESOL: Overall 65 with no element below 60.
• Cambridge Advanced English: 169 overall, with no less than 162 in each element.
• Cambridge English Business Higher: Grade C with all parts 'weak' or higher.
• Cambridge B2 First: 169 overall, with no less than 162 in each element.
• Cambridge Proficiency in English: 176 overall, with no less than 162 in each element.
• Oxford Test of English (OTE): 126 overall with no contributing module score below 111.
• Skills for English: SELT: B2 Pass.

• Occupational English Test (OET): C+.
