Academic Qualification

• GCSEs: English, Maths, and Science at Grade 4+ (Grade C pre-2017) or equivalents.
• Access to HE Diploma: Minimum 112 UCAS tariff points.
• T Levels: Pass with 112 UCAS points, including C+ in core.
• Scottish Awards: 5 Highers with 112 UCAS points, 2 at Grade B or above.
• Irish Leaving Certificate: 5 subjects with 112 UCAS points, 3 at H3 or above.
• International Baccalaureate: 3 Highers with 112 UCAS points, 2 at H5 or above.

• Selected applicants are invited for an online interview and must provide photo ID along with original certificates.

• Candidates are selected based on alignment with NHS values and assessed on quality care principles during the interview.

•  Practical Experience: Desirable but not mandatory (e.g., experience in hospitals or nursing homes).
• DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) Check: Enhanced DBS check required, processed by the University.

• Standard 12th qualifications: CBSE/ICSE or State Boards or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 60% and above.

• IELTS Academic: 6.0 with no skill below 5.5.
• TOEFL iBT (including Special Home Edition): Total of 79 to 89 with Minimum: Reading: 18, Listening: 17, Speaking: 20, Writing: 17.
• Pearsons PTE Academic: Total of 54 (minimum of 51 in all components).
• Cambridge First: Certificate Total Grade B (minimum 'Borderline' in all four components).
• Cambridge Advanced: Total Grade C (minimum 'weak' in all four components).
• Cambridge Proficiency: Lowest grade equivalent to IELTS 6.5.
• Cambridge IGCSE English as a Second Language: 
  • Syllabus 0510: Overall Grade C and Grade 2 Speaking.
  • Syllabus 0511: Overall Grade C.
• Cambridge IGCSE English as a First Language:
  • Syllabus 0522: Overall Grade C.
