Ques. What is the difference between the regular B.Pharma and B.Pharma Lateral Entry at DBS Global University?
Ans. The regular B.Pharma is a 4-year program (8 semesters) open to Class 12 students with PCB/PCM. The B.Pharma Lateral Entry is a 3-year program (6 semesters) exclusively for D.Pharma holders, who directly enter the 2nd year (3rd semester), saving one year. The curriculum from the 3rd semester onwards is the same for both programs.
Ques. Can I register as a pharmacist after completing B.Pharma Lateral Entry from DGU?
Ans. Yes. After completing the B.Pharma Lateral Entry program, graduates are eligible to register with the State Pharmacy Council as licensed pharmacists. This enables them to practice in community pharmacies, hospital pharmacies, pharmaceutical companies, and government sectors.
Ques. What is the total fee for the B.Pharma Lateral Entry program at DGU?
Ans. The total academic fee for the 3-year lateral entry program (6 semesters) is Rs. 5,04,800 (tuition + admission + exam fees). Including one-time charges (security deposit, CDC membership, ERP fee, etc.), the grand total comes to approximately Rs. 5,34,300. Hostel charges are additional and optional.

Ans. No mandatory national entrance exam is required for B.Pharma Lateral Entry admission at DBS Global University. Admission is based on merit in the qualifying D.Pharma examination and performance in an online interview conducted by the university.
