Ques. Is CLAT mandatory for BA LLB admission at JRU?
Ans. No, CLAT is not mandatory for BA LLB admission at JRU. The university follows a merit-based admission process based on 10+2 marks. However, candidates with a valid CLAT score may be given preference. Since CLAT 2026 has already been conducted (December 2025), candidates who did not appear can still apply directly to JRU based on their 10+2 marks.
Ques. What is the age limit for BA LLB admission at JRU?
Ans. As per Bar Council of India (BCI) norms, candidates must be below 20 years of age for general category and below 22 years for SC/ST/OBC candidates at the time of admission to the BA LLB programme. Candidates are advised to verify the latest BCI age limit norms before applying.
