Ques. What is the difference between BA Psychology and BA (Research) Psychology?
Ans. The BA (Research) Psychology program has a stronger emphasis on research methodology, empirical studies, and data analysis. Students conduct original research projects and have access to advanced laboratory facilities. This program is ideal for students planning to pursue postgraduate studies or research careers, whereas the regular BA Psychology program focuses more on applied psychology.
Ques. Can I pursue a Master's degree after completing BA (Research) Psychology?
Ans. Absolutely! The BA (Research) Psychology program is specifically designed to prepare students for postgraduate studies. Graduates can pursue M.Sc. Psychology, M.Phil., or Ph.D. programs at Jain University or other prestigious institutions. Many of our graduates have been admitted to top universities for advanced research programs.
Ques. What kind of research projects will I work on during the program?
Ans. Ques. Is the JET exam difficult? What is the passing score?
Ans. The JET exam is designed to assess aptitude and subject knowledge. It's moderately challenging but manageable with proper preparation. The exam consists of 100 marks with questions from reasoning, English, and general knowledge. There is no fixed passing score; admission is based on merit ranking.
