Ques. What is the difference between Bachelor of Sports Science and Bachelor of Physical Education?
Ans. Bachelor of Sports Science focuses on the scientific study of human performance, exercise physiology, biomechanics, sports psychology, and nutrition with emphasis on data-driven performance analysis and research. Bachelor of Physical Education emphasizes teaching physical education in schools and coaching sports. While both involve sports, BSS is more research and science-oriented, while BPEd is more teaching and coaching-oriented. BSS graduates often work in performance analysis, strength and conditioning, and sports science support roles.
Ques. Can I pursue this course if I don't have a sports background?
Ans. Yes, absolutely. The program is designed for students from all educational backgrounds (Science, Commerce, Arts). No prior sports experience is required.
