NITC - Just my experience

Good place to get an MBA degree without much of tight schedules and stress

Course plans are a bit outdated. Needs to be updated using current trends in the market

Fees and Financial Aid:

Since the institute is governed by central government, fees being paid is low. But the management asks us to pay high charges on mess, hostel,etc. Financial subsidies and scholarships are available, but the officers make it a tedious work for us. Campus placement are student driven (almost 45%). More support needs to be provided from the management. There is no placement training with free of cost.

The fee structure was student-friendly and very reasonable. Our per semester fee was around Rs. 35000. In the one-time fee, the fees like library fee, caution fee, and student welfare fee were included here. I paid Around Rs. 5500 as a one-time fee.

How I got into NIT-Calicut for MBA

Fees and Financial Aid:

I paid Rs. 35000 per semester academic fees and also paid some other fees like development fees, examination fees along with the semester fees. Though I did not apply for any scholarship schemes there were some scholarship schemes were available for us. I did not get a scholarship. One of my friends told me that all the scholarships were available through the national scholarship portal.

Life in NITC - A Review

Fee Structure And Facilities:

My college's entire MBA programme price is 1.6 lakhs, and I paid 40 thousand for each semester which is quite reasonable compared to other institutes. In addition, our college offers scholarships to SC, ST, and other minority students from Kerala and other states based on merit and financial need. Our college, on the other hand, has established specific requirements for them to meet. So, their family's yearly income must be less than 2.5 lakhs, and they must have received at least 50 percent in undergraduate studies. Now, because I am from the unreserved category, I did not meet the qualifying criteria and so was not eligible for the scholarship.

Fee Structure And Facilities:

The total fee for MBA program at my college is 1.6 lakhs and that for each semester, I paid 40 thousands. Also, our college has scholarship provision based on merit and financial condition for SC, ST and other minority students hailing from Kerala or other states. However our college has set some criteria which they have to fulfil. So, the criteria is that their family's annual income should be less than 2.5 lakhs and they must have obtained at least 50% marks in undergraduate. Now, since I am from unreserved category, I didn't fulfil the required criteria and so, I couldn't get the scholarship benefits.

The fees of MBA in this Institute is one of the lowest in the country, so that many students can afford it. The annual fees of this program were 85000 rupees. This college also supported some of the students with scholarships if they have scored great marks and ranked the College.

Fee Structure And Facilities:

The fee structure for MBA program in my college is 40 thousands for a semester and that for two years it is 1.6 lakh in total. Further, our college also provide scholarship opportunity to those belonging to SC/ST category and minorities from the state or non-Keralites. Moreover, for the merit based scholarship, SC/ST category candidates can apply but only if they have acquired 50% in their undergraduate and their annual family income must be less than 2.5 lakhs. However, those applying for merit based scholarship won't have to pay any amount as tuition or other fees. Also, one who belongs to unreserved category but their family income is less can apply for educational loan.

For MBA program, the fee I paid for a semester was 40000 and in total it is 1.6 lakh for two years. Also, I didn't avail the scholarship opportunity as it is available for SC/ST and other minorities from the state or non-keralites. For the merit based scholarship, if anyone from SC/ST applies, his/her marks in undergraduate should not be less than 50% and their annual family income should be less than 2.5 lakh. Then they will not have to pay a single penny as tuition or other fees.Also, one who does not get any scholarship and his/her family income is less and have to pay rebate on loans but can apply for educational loans as well .

Entry into the NIT CALICUT MBA programme

Fees and Financial Aid:

No, didn't opt for loan. Although the college has tie ups with several banks for instant loan processing and easy admission. There is also scholarship for economically weaker sections of the society.

The tuition fee per semester is INR 125000 for the Btech courses at the NIT Calicut. The total year-wise fee is INR 2.78 Lakhs. Candidate must have passed the 12th examination of 10+2 system from a recognized board with Physics & Mathematics as main subjects along with either. Candidates must qualify for one of the following entrance tests - JEE Main/ JEE Advance.
