Mtech at VSSUT, Burla

Fee Structure And Facilities:

Fee structure was good. Since it is a State Govt college we had to pay much less than the fees at NITs. There is financial assistance from MHRD for gate qualified students of 12400 per month. There are also placement opportunities for MTech students in software companies. But placement in core companies is rare. TCS, Cognizant and Infosys are some of the major recruiters that allow Mtech students from all branch.

It's a very good college, located at birla Sambalpur Odisha

Fees and Financial Aid:

I am getting a gate scholarship which is given by aicte to gate-cleared students who are pursuing their MTech or Ph.D. I am pursuing my master's degree so I'm getting 12400. There are also some other scholarships by the Odisha government. And by other state governments.

Good college for a better career

Many scholarships can be availed in this college. Government of Odisha provides a good amount of scholarship to all JEE rank holders. AICTE provides GATE stipend of Rs. 12,400/- pm to GATE qualified M. Tech students. Loan facilities available from all leading banks.

College isn't providing stipend to GATE qualified students.. it's only the stipend provided by aicte for the GATE qualified students. And for nongate students limited people get stipend by the college.
