Ques. Is the B.V.A. Painting programme at Pondicherry University a new course? What is its current status?

It is a 4-year full-time programme under NEP 2020, offered by the Department of Electronic Media and Mass Communication under the School of Media and Communication. The first batch was admitted in 2024-25, making it a relatively new but well-structured programme with an updated NEP-aligned curriculum.
Ques. What CUET (UG) subject do I need to appear in to apply for B.V.A. Painting at Pondicherry University?
Ans. You must appear in Fine Arts as the domain subject in CUET (UG) 2026 to be eligible for the B.V.A. (Hons.) Painting programme at Pondicherry University. This is the only domain subject accepted for this programme. Make sure to select Fine Arts when filling out your CUET application.
