Amity Jaipur Ph.D. Clinical Psychology Admission 2026
Admissions to the Ph.D. (Clinical Psychology) Full Time programme at Amity University Jaipur are conducted twice a year, for January and July sessions. The selection process involves the Amity PhD Entrance Test (APET) followed by a Faculty Research Committee (FRC) interview. Candidates with valid UGC-NET, CSIR-NET, ICMR-JRF, GATE, or similar national-level qualifications are exempted from the written test. For the July 2026 session, applications are currently open.

Note: UGC-NET qualification (Category 1, 2, or 3) in Psychology or Clinical Psychology exempts candidates from the APET written test at Amity University.

Eligibility Criteria
- Master's degree (MA/M.Sc./M.Phil.) in Clinical Psychology or a related field from a recognised university with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent CGPA.
- Candidates with a 4-year Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 75% marks in the relevant field are also eligible for direct full-time Ph.D. admission.
- A relaxation of 5% marks is applicable for SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/Differently-Abled/EWS candidates as per UGC regulations 2022.
Admission Process
- Register and fill the online application form at www.amity.edu/phd and pay the application fee of Rs. 1,500 online.
- Upload all required documents including academic certificates, a Preliminary Research Idea, and (if applicable) NET/JRF certificate for APET exemption.
- Appear in the APET (90-minute, 100 MCQ test covering general research aptitude and subject-specific questions) unless exempted.
- Qualified/exempted candidates appear before the Faculty Research Committee (FRC) for an interview.
- Selected candidates receive an admission letter on the admission microsite and must complete fee payment and registration within the stipulated time.
- Working professionals applying for full-time Ph.D. must submit an NOC from their employer at the time of registration.
