Q1. Where is the BVSc & AH programme of BHU conducted? Is it at the main Varanasi campus?
Ans. No, the BVSc & AH programme at BHU is conducted at the Faculty of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (FVAS), Rajiv Gandhi South Campus (RGSC), Barkachha, Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh - approximately 90 km from the main BHU campus in Varanasi. RGSC is a separate campus of BHU with its own veterinary hospital, livestock farms, and research facilities.
Q2. How many seats are available for BVSc & AH at BHU, and how are they distributed?
Ans. There are 60 total seats for BVSc & AH at BHU (RGSC). Of these, 9 seats (15%) are filled through VCI (Veterinary Council of India) centralised counselling, and the remaining 51 seats (85%) are filled through BHU's own NEET-based admission process. Reservation norms as per government policy apply to both quotas.
