BHU MA (Mimansa) Fees

BHU offers the MA (Mimansa) programme at an exceptionally subsidised fee structure, with total tuition fees of just Rs. 4,000 for the entire 2-year course (Rs. 1,000 per semester). In addition to tuition, students are required to pay other university charges, bringing the total course fee to approximately Rs. 23,500. Hostel accommodation is available separately and is not mandatory.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have passed a Bachelor's degree (Shastri/BA with Mimansa or Sanskrit or related subject) with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates).
Candidates must have appeared in CUET PG 2026 and opted for Banaras Hindu University (BHU) at the time of filling the NTA form.
Age: No upper age limit for MA programmes at BHU.

Admission Process

Appear in CUET PG 2026 conducted by NTA and select BHU as a preferred university.
