GBPUAT Ph.D. (Ag. Economics) Fees
Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics at GBPUAT is a government-funded programme with affordable fees. The total fee per semester includes tuition fee, library fee, examination fee, and other charges as per the official 2026-27 fee structure. The fee for Ph.D. programmes is higher than Masters programmes due to additional research-related charges. Payment seat holders pay an additional Rs. 2,00,000 per annum over and above the routine university fee.

- The one-time admission fee of Rs. 4,850 is paid only once at the time of joining.
- Food advance of Rs. 20,000 per semester is adjustable against actual mess expenses.
- Caution money of Rs. 2,500 is refundable at the time of leaving the university.
- Hostel accommodation is mandatory as GBPUAT is a fully residential campus.
- Payment seat fee of Rs. 2,00,000 per annum is in addition to the routine university fee.
- University Fellowship of Rs. 6,000 per month (up to 36 months) is available for eligible students, which significantly offsets the fee.
- Educational loans are available through the State Bank of India Scholar Loan Scheme.
