Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Agronomy, Agriculture, or a related field from a recognised university with a minimum OGPA of 6.500/10.000 or 4.000/5.000 or First Division (55% marks in aggregate).
SC/ST candidates require a minimum OGPA of 6.000/10.000 or 3.500/5.000 or 50% marks.
Candidates appearing in the final year of their Master's programme are eligible to apply provisionally.
Other State candidates must apply through the ICAR entrance examination; they are not eligible to apply through the GBPUAT Entrance Examination for this discipline.

Admission Process

Uttarakhand domicile candidates must apply online at www.gbpuat.org.in and appear in the GBPUAT Entrance Examination.
Other State candidates must apply through the ICAR entrance examination portal and participate in ICAR counselling.
Application fee: Rs. 1,200 for General/OBC/Other State candidates; Rs. 600 for SC/ST candidates.
After declaration of results, eligible candidates are called for online counselling based on merit rank.
Candidates must upload documents online for verification before seat allotment.
Physical reporting at GBPUAT Pantnagar is mandatory with original documents including Master's degree certificate/PDC.
