GBPUAT Ph.D. (Vegetable Science) Fees

The Ph.D. (Vegetable Science) programme at GBPUAT follows a university-prescribed fee structure revised as per the Office Order dated July 17, 2025. The total university fee per semester for Ph.D. students is Rs. 52,440 (inclusive of tuition fee, examination fee, library fee, and other charges), with a one-time admission fee of Rs. 4,850 and an annual fee of Rs. 4,339. For payment seat holders, an additional programme fee of Rs. 2,00,000 per annum is charged over and above the university fee. A food advance of Rs. 20,000 per semester is also mandatory, adjusted against actual mess expenses.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates must hold an M.Sc. (Ag.) / M.Sc. in Horticulture (Vegetable Science) / Olericulture / Horticulture with specialization in Vegetable Science, or equivalent degree with a minimum OGPA of 6.500/10.000 or 4.000/5.000 or First Division from a recognized university.
  • Candidates who have qualified UGC/CSIR/ICAR examinations (JRF/SRF) for Ph.D. programmes, with or without fellowship, are also eligible for admission.
  • Candidates appearing in their final qualifying examination are provisionally eligible, subject to submission of final marksheet/PDC at the time of counselling.
