Security Deposit (Rs. 2,000), Mess Security Deposit (Rs. 1,000), and Refundable Mess Advance (Rs. 2,000) are fully refundable at the time of leaving the institute.

Eligibility Criteria

For Full-Time PhD (Science Stream - Mathematics): Master's degree in Science/Mathematics or equivalent with minimum 60% marks or CPI 6/10 (55% or CPI 5.5 for SC/ST); OR Bachelor's degree in Science with 4-year/8-semester program with minimum 70% marks or CPI 7/10 (65% or CPI 6.5 for SC/ST).
Additional requirement: Valid GATE score in Mathematics (MA) or CSIR/UGC-NET/JEST in relevant streams; OR JRF of CSIR/UGC/NBHM/DBT in relevant streams; OR B.Tech degree in Mathematics and Computing from IIT with CPI/CGPA of 8.0 or more (specific provision for Mathematics program).
