Ques. Is it mandatory to appear for VITBEE to get admission to the MBA programme at VIT-AP, or can I apply with my CAT score?
Ans. No, VITBEE is not mandatory. VIT-AP accepts CAT, XAT, and MAT scores for MBA admissions. VITBEE is an alternative for candidates who have not appeared for these national exams. Candidates with high CAT/XAT percentiles (90+) are also eligible for scholarship benefits.

Ques. Is the 1+1 Exchange Programme with US universities available to all MBA students at VIT-AP?
Ans. The 1+1 Exchange Programme is available to eligible MBA students at VIT-AP School of Business. Under this programme, students can spend one year at VIT-AP and one year at a partner university in the US. Selection is typically based on academic performance and other criteria. Students are advised to check with the International Relations office at VIT-AP for the latest partner universities and eligibility conditions.
Ques. What is the difference between applying through CAT/XAT vs VITBEE for VIT-AP MBA admissions?
Ans. Both routes lead to the same MBA programme. Candidates applying through CAT/XAT/MAT are evaluated based on their national exam scores and are also eligible for merit scholarships (up to 100% tuition fee waiver for 95+ percentile in CAT/XAT). VITBEE is VIT's own entrance exam, conducted on May 3, 2026, and is ideal for candidates who missed the national exams. The selection process for both routes includes a Personal Interview (PI) round.
