My experience so far is very good. tOSU offers cultural inclusion and people are very accepting here. You get plenty of activities and extracurricular activities along with excellent academics. The campus is very pretty with a lake and a river going around the campus.

Course Curriculum

10

The Ohio State University is one the most esteemed public university in the USA. The coursework is quite challenging to keep student interaction high. The courses are very relevant to future career opportunities in the specific field and there is a wide variety of options to choose from.

Faculty

10

The faculty and staff are very friendly and helpful. There are many help options if I need help with my academics or career. The professors try to make things very understandable and simple in class.

Campus Life

10

Life at OSU is fun. The clubs are very active and they host tons of events to participate in. OSU has one of the biggest recreational centers in the country and offers many classes. Libraries are one of the best parts of OSU, they got around nine libraries on campus and I never had any issues finding any books or document there. Wifi is available everywhere on campus.

Placement

10

There are tons of options after graduating from OSU. The most recent event I went to was semiconductor day and I met around 20 recruiters there from across the engineering field.

Accommodation

Off Campus
10

OSU is kind of the center of the city of Columbus so there is plenty of off-campus housing available just walking distance from campus. I live off-campus and the rent is pretty reasonable in Columbus.

Exams

GRE exempted after COVID. My IELTS score 7.5 I did not take TOEFT or any other exam. I had interviews with my supervisor to access my research capabilities.

Fees

Tuition fees go around $47,000/ year, so for me, it is fully paid, but there are a few options for students to get involved on campus to make extra money to manage their finances. Also, there is a financial counseling option available at OSU.

Scholarship

Yes, I have a research assistantship which pays 28,000$/year.
