What Students Say
Likes
- My research interests were matching with what was happening here.
- Some of the best professors are there in my university and the research is top notch. The facilities are amazing. Especially the robotics lab has some of the most sophisticated equipments that you can work with.
Dislikes
- It is not very inclusive. Some graduate advisor and professors are racist. Sometime if you get stuck with a bad advisor, it can become very stressful and traumatic. Be very careful which professor you choose as your advisor as that is very important for you to successfully complete your degree on time.
Required Exams for Admission
It has been a rocky ride with loads of ups and downs. The newly recruited professors are sub par. The established professors are amazing.
Course Curriculum
Very average. Some courses are well structured but some are very poor. It is highly dependent on the faculty taking the course.
Faculty
Dr Alan Fern, Dr Joseph Davidson and Dr. Cindy Grimm whom I got the fortune to work with are amazing.
Campus Life
Pretty happening. There are a few clubs and periodical events happening. There are also some periods of dull without any lively campus life.
Placement
Okay. I am not sure about placements but the university does not have very well established campus recruiters.
Accommodation

Exams
My scores : GRE 162/170 Quant 159/170 Verbal, TOEFL : 104/120. CV/SOP/LOR. Just make sure to include how your skillsets and aspirations are relevant to the research happening at the university.
