Required Exams for Admission
My overall experience is pretty good at University of Maryland. The classes are really good and the syllabus is designed in such a way that it helps to make you understand in easy ways.
Course Curriculum
The course syllabus is updated almost every one or two years so it's always updated.
Faculty
I'm not sure about the faculty to student ratio but I can assure you that the faculties and the professor are excellent. They are quite reachable, they have office hours every week.
Campus Life
They are a lot of clubs and activities going on in the campus. They have a total of 6 libraries around the campus. They have free wifi coverage all over.
Placement
There are a lot of companies visiting this campus for career fair and we can easily grab a good opportunity.
Accommodation
For my masters you have to reside off campus and there are a lot of options nearby campus. The range of the rent starts from around $400 and goes up to around 800-1000.
Exams
GRE was not required as it was optional. I submitted my IELTS score. I scored 7.5 in listening 7 in reading 6.5 in writing and 7 in speaking. SOP, CV, LOR. All points covering all the activities you have done making you stand out.
Fees
Around $45k per year including stay, tuition everything.
Scholarship
No scholarship, but UMD is a public school so anyways the tuition is pretty low as compared to others.
