Likes
- The University has the best faculty and professors and I really love how they teach every topic in detail and makes sure we understand them.
- I really love the study hubs and library and all the events that take place in the University.
Course Curriculum
- The course is adjacent to the CPA curriculum, and professors teach accordingly to the syllabus along with extra study material from PCAOB sections and articles. Classes are held 4 days a week, with assignments due on weekends.
Admission Experience
- I chose this university because of its great accounting curriculum and the teaching faculty who motivate us to progress in life and teach us all the core concepts in detail. I also love how the university embraces the different cultures of the students and hosts events for each culture. This makes us feel like we are at home while being away from home.
- For a Master's in accounting, you need a really good score in your higher secondary school and in undergrad.
Faculty
- Our professors are really amazing, and they teach really well and make sure that we understand each and every concept really well. They are very friendly, and even if we make any mistakes, instead of scolding us, they praise us for the courage we took to answer the question and motivate us to study and prepare our content well enough to not make any mistakes, and also encourage us to ask more questions.
Campus Life
- The campus life is really good with a lot of extracurricular activities and meet and greet, and all. Activities of all nationalities are conducted to promote their culture and ethics.
Part Time Jobs
- You can apply for a TA role at the beginning of a semester, and it's up to the professors if they want to choose you. You can also apply for on-campus jobs only, and you can work up to 20 hours a week, but off-campus jobs are not allowed as per visa rules.
Placement
- There is a placement department that helps you to review your resume, and also helps you with mock interviews and helps you get placed. But in the end, it's all your efforts that actually play an important role in helping you get placed.
Accommodation
- I live off-campus near the university, and my rent is around $600 per month.
Exams
- For Macc, we just needed good scores in our undergrad.
Fees
- Our total fee is $30,000 for the entire course year.
