Course Curriculum
- The course curriculum does not focus on theory but adds practical applications too.
- Course projects include tie-ups with real-world companies and clients.
- 2 to max 3 classes a day, each class is like 1 hour 15 minutes for grad students.
- 10 to 15 for grad classes and max30-35 in undergrad courses.

- UGA has 3 different research stations within GA, particularly for Agricultural research. Apart from that, every department has its own personal labs allotted to its professors and students.
- The main campus has around 3 major libraries, and apart from them, it has various learning centers for students to sit, learn, and have access to world-class facilities for free.
- UGA is big on sports; you've got game events every week.
- Students have access to the gym and training activities.
Part Time Jobs
- Most of the departments offer assistantships To 60% of their students, and the rest of the students get on-campus jobs very easily, and the pay rate is justifiable. The UGAjobs portal is very helpful in looking for on-campus jobs, and the HR department is really helpful.
Placement
- UGA is a reputable university, so finding a job is easy with this name on your resume.
Accommodation
- On-campus housing costs $650 per month, including all utilities. But off campus it can go upto $800-900 per month.
Exams
- My GRE score was 310, IELTS - Overall 8 bands. These were the two tests required for my program as per my departmental requirements.
- GRE- Scores vary with departments.
- IELTS - Minimum 6 or 7.
- SAT, GMAT, and TOEFL are also accepted; these test requirements vary from program to program.
- Academic CV, 3 LORs, and around 1.5 or 2 page Statement of Purpose required
