What Students Say
Likes
- The campus and campus life is really good, if you're into college sports this is a good place to be
Dislikes
- The placements are decent not really good, especially for CS, but for fields like supply chain and civil engineering the placements are good.
Course Curriculum
- The courses are quite updated, yes, I have research experience, and a lot of RA opportunities are available.
- We usually have 2 classes in a day, and the average no of students in a class is 12-15.
Admission Experience
- My overall experience has been good; I got a summer internship via a career fair at the university, the alumni network is good, and the place is quite budget-friendly to live here.
- My scores are GRE: 310, IELTS: 7.5, and I do not need the SAT for an MS in CS
Faculty
- Ratio would be 1:15, we do have a lot of esteemed faculty members like Dr. Bruno Basso, Dr. Banzhof Wolfgang. They are easily approachable and helpful.
Campus Life
- There are a lot of clubs, like coding club, AI club, Indian society/club, and similarly for all countries. But all these are mainly managed by undergrads; PhD or MS students are not much involved in all this
Part Time Jobs
- A lot of in-campus and off-campus jobs are available; there is a specific portal for that. Students do get RA easily, but not TA, for RA salary is 20$/hour and for odd jobs like kitchen and all it would be 12-15$ per hour
Placement
- Within 6 months of time, almost 75-80% find a job, or they have a lot of on-campus options, such as working on research or so. Average salary totally depends on location, west coast would. be around 180-220k, and east would be 110-150k, but in michigan it is around 80-100k. It totally depends on the location.
Accommodation
- I got to know about this place via the college website, they do list some off-campus locations, and my rent is 420$/month
Exams
- IELTS and GRE are required, and also 3 recommendations
Fees
- 1900$ per credit
