I am a servant leader, prioritizing the needs of students, faculty, and staff. My leadership style is collaborative, visionary, adaptive, and ethical. I believe in fostering an environment where every member feels valued and motivated and I set a clear vision for the college’s future while remaining open to change and innovation to meet evolving challenges.

Being a Member of Alankar PG Girls College, how do you strategize about the programs and plans for the marketing and administration of your school?

Developing strategies for marketing and administration at Alankar PG Girls College is a comprehensive process. It begins with data-driven decision-making, where we collect and analyze information on enrollment trends, student demographics, and market demand. Stakeholder engagement is critical, involving faculty, staff, and students to gather insights and ensure buy-in. We conduct ongoing market research, allocate resources judiciously, encourage innovation in teaching methods, and prioritize effective communication with stakeholders. Regular assessment of program effectiveness allows for adjustments and improvements, ensuring our programs and plans align with the college’s mission and the needs of our community.

Additionally, I prioritize creating a supportive and inclusive environment for students, fostering their academic and personal growth. Responsible resource management, overseeing finances and infrastructure, is integral to my role. Building relationships with the community, alumni, and stakeholders to enhance the university’s reputation and opportunities for students is also part of my responsibilities. Encouraging innovation in teaching, research, and administrative practices is vital to staying relevant in a dynamic environment. Upholding and promoting ethical standards and integrity within the institution is non-negotiable. I aim to promote diversity and inclusion throughout the university community.

What do you think should be the University’s top priority over the next ten years?

Over the next ten years, the university’s top priority should be to align its efforts with its mission and vision, which typically revolve around providing high-quality education, fostering research and innovation, and serving the community. Additionally, in a rapidly changing world, the university needs to adapt to emerging trends and technologies, ensuring that its curriculum remains relevant and prepares students for the future job market. Enhancing diversity and inclusion efforts, both in terms of student body and faculty, should also be a sustained focus, as this enriches the learning experience and prepares students for a globalized world. Furthermore, addressing environmental sustainability and ethical considerations in all aspects of university operations should be a priority. Lastly, maintaining financial stability and accessibility to education, possibly through scholarship programs and partnerships, is crucial to ensure that education remains accessible to various students. 

When you first came to Alankar PG Girls College, what was your vision for the university? Has it evolved, and how far along in implementing that vision are you?

When I first came to Alankar PG Girls College, my vision for the university was to transform it into a leading institution for women’s education, renowned for academic excellence and empowerment. Over time, this vision has evolved to include a stronger emphasis on research, innovation, and community engagement. We have made significant progress in implementing this vision, introducing new academic programs, expanding research initiatives, and forging partnerships with local organizations. However, there is still work to be done, particularly in terms of enhancing our research capacity and further deepening our community engagement. Our journey towards fully realizing this vision is ongoing, and we remain committed to the continuous improvement and growth of the university.

What would you like people to know about your university they may not know?

One aspect of our university that I’d like people to know is our unwavering commitment to women’s education and empowerment. What are some plans that you are currently (or will be) designing for Alankar PG Girls College, international affairs, and/ or students?

We are actively designing plans to enhance international affairs and opportunities for our students at Alankar PG Girls College. These plans include establishing partnerships with universities abroad to facilitate student exchange programs, fostering research collaborations with international institutions, offering language and cultural immersion programs, providing opportunities for global internships, and introducing scholarship programs to attract international students. Additionally, we plan to host international conferences and events to create a platform for global dialogue and knowledge exchange. These initiatives align with our vision of preparing our students to thrive in a globalized world and providing them with opportunities for international experiences and learning.
