You have held key positions at education institutes throughout your professional career. What are the key factors that keep you connected with the education sector?

Prior to my present role, I worked as Director at the Institute of Law and Research, Faridabad, as Director at St. Peter’s College, Faridabad, and also as Registrar of Kawa Global University. After handling so much throughout my career, I will say one thing that has kept me always connected to the education sector is its constant evolution and learning opportunities. I got the opportunity to be participative in an ever-changing domain, which motivates me. It gives me immense pleasure to lead and organise an institution, its faculties, and students, and to look at the overall development. It's a challenge and I prefer to always face it.

How does the curriculum of your institute ensure the best practice of industry?

We add additional supplementary and value added material to the curriculum designed by the MD University, Rohtak. The university is a NAAC A+. We are always focused on the holistic development of the students and we believe in the policy of students first. All subjects and courses are designed accordingly.

What do you think should be the University’s top priority over the next 10 years?

Over the next ten years, our goal should be to produce managers with a human touch, we aim to provide education with technology and digital education. This is our main goal. Looking at the bigger picture, it is basically creating a better world or, in short, contributing to the welfare and development of society.

When you first came to your institute, what was your vision for the university? Has it evolved over time, and how far along in implementing that vision are you?

I joined this institute in 1995 when there were around 60 students. My vision was to grow the institute with the vision to produce managers with a human touch. Our institute is the only self-financed college in the whole of North India and has 28 years of legacy in education. We are centrally located near all public transportation and nearby cities. We are located just five kilometres from the Mumbai Highway Express, three kilometres from the metro station, and three kilometres from the national highway and we are well connected with all the transport facilities.

We have transformed from traditional methods of teaching to digital platforms. Every lecture is available in Google Classroom and many classes are being conducted in Hybrid mode. Students can learn at their own pace and revise the material as and when they wish.

How is your relationship with the students of your college?

We make efforts to ensure cordial relations are maintained and students are kept under close surveillance, as it is only a management college. We have a 0% tolerance policy towards indiscipline and are the most disciplined college with students from Delhi and NCR.

What are the most important functions in the role that you play in your institute?

I am a leader with a human touch and believe in Human resources secrets. I believe in transforming traditional minds into digital platforms for teachers and students. All of my duties and functions are geared towards this goal.

How do you tend to establish a healthy relationship and environment in your institute/ university?

We have a lush green campus with 300 trees and the colleges are surrounded by three parks. We have a mission to plant more trees on the campus as well as in our adopted villages. Apart from that, I will set up regular meetings with every member to plan and discuss opportunities and requirements that we need. Receiving regular feedback from them and interacting with different people from diverse backgrounds are regular duties. We also look into giving and receiving emotional comfort from colleagues, and students.
