Mr. S.V. Vara Prasad is the Director-Academic at Aradhana College Of Education. Previously he worked as a lecturer at Vivekananda Degree College and Sindhu Junior & Degree College. He has accomplished M.A (Tel), M.A (Soc), and M.Ed. from Nagarjuna University, Guntur. He has trained over 1600 B.Ed. students in his career. He has 20 years of experience in the Teaching field.

What factors make the programs of your college the best choice for students?

Our college is located very near to the city and we have a good faculty, those who are well qualified and those who have double PG’s with the NET program and doctorates are there. So, it is very useful to the students and we are providing PMS facility also. For Those who have the ambition to teach and those who are below poverty, it is good and the best college in the entire Telangana. When we observe the previous results we have obtained 100% results. We have established in 2002 with 21 years of experience, we have 100% results in our college. In Telangana, there are 140 colleges and we are in the top 4th place in Telangana Osmania Affiliated colleges. So, our college is the best choice to take admission for the B.Ed. course. We do follow the norms and standards of NCTE as well as Osmania University.

Can you provide an overview of the facilities available to the students in your college?

Good infrastructure and good laboratory facilities are there for every department, we have a health center, and we have separate girls' waiting rooms. We also provide all the facilities for the games and sports activities. We have a psychology lab, curriculam lab, library facilities, and a social science lab. We are providing all the facilities that are important for the student’s career. “She teams” will come from the nearest Police Station of Rajendranagar to provide guidance to the women on how to behave in the society and about moral values. In a new building of 30,000 Sqft along with all facilities, We are happy to introduce Aradhana College as the best college for students in all aspects.

What career options are available for students after pursuing courses from your college?

Actually, the B.Ed program purely belongs to teacher education and it is useful to change the society. For those who want to change society as well as our careers also, it is a good choice for everyone. Nowadays most of the girl candidates showing interest to do jobs in the teaching sector so I believe the teaching sector is a better choice for them, we do encourage them for women's empowerment.  Those who have done the B.Ed program, are eligible for school assistant called a trained graduate teacher i.e. TGT. If you want to teach for higher sections as a school assistant then a B.Ed program is mandatory to do. In the contemporary system, there are a number of experienced faculties there, but they don’t have the eligibility criteria. So, in my words, the eligibility is different and the efficiency is different. Even though you have efficiency in the market or in our professions, eligibility is the most important. If they accomplish the B.Ed program, it will be useful to them as well as the society also.

How does the college encourage students to participate in extracurricular activities and leadership opportunities?

We usually conduct essay writing and essay competitions in all types of programs we offer. In every event, we guide students and provide the platform to present their thoughts and build up their careers. We do celebrate different activities to make them informed about how to live in the society, how the society is going on, what qualities we have to build up, We will give all types of activities and various fests in college. Every year we are conducting Fresher's Day parties and farewell parties and Cultural festivals.

Are there career counseling and guidance services available to students to help them make informed career choices?

Yearly, twice we are conducting seminars from the senior faculty. In those seminars, most senior professionals are giving their counseling to the students It is very useful too. Previously, Mr. Emily Mozes, he has Emily Academy in Hyderabad. He came to our institution to give his guidance to the students. We are very thankful to him also. We are conducting job fairs also. 150 members got good positions in various international schools. 94 students got jobs as government teachers Fromm 2002 to 2023. My students are in various government schools. We are very thankful to the parents and those who have selected my college for guidance. We are very thankful to them and we will give our best to the students.

What valuable advice would you like to give to the current youth and aspiring students to have a prosperous career ahead?

I think education is life, it’s not merely for living. Everyone should learn what they want to learn. First, they should create their goal and go for hard work afterward. By doing this, they will definitely reach their goals. As a senior academician, I will definitely give my guidance to everyone who approaches me. We are very thankful that good students came here and they have got a good position in society.
