Dr. D. Rajkumar is a Professor and the Head of the Department of Agricultural Engineering at RVS Technical Campus-Coimbatore. He holds a B.Sc. in Agriculture and a M.Sc. in Agriculture from Tamil Nadu Agricultural University. Thereafter, he completed his PhD in 2010. Since then, Dr. Rajkumar has gained 12 years of work experience in the industry and published his papers in 7 international and 9 national journals. He has also written more than 11 books in the fields of Bioenergy, Environmental Engineering, and Agricultural Microbiology.

Dr. Rajkumar has organised over 100 training programmes in Biogas Technology funded by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Government of India, New Delhi. He has been appointed as a syllabus sub-committee member by Anna University, Chennai, to frame the syllabus and curriculum for B.E. Agricultural Engineering students since 2016. Additionally, he has been appointed as Chairman of both Agriculture and Food Boards in Central Valuation by the Controller of Examination, at Anna University since 2019.
