Dr. Pramila Dubey has been working as the Principal of S.S.G. Pareek P.G. College of Education, Jaipur, Rajasthan. She also holds the responsibility of Dean, Faculty of Education at the University of Rajasthan, Jaipur. She strongly believes that the behavior of any society is a reflection of the values imbibed in their educational system, hence the role of a Teacher is of utmost importance in an egalitarian society. And due to her sheer dedication and commitment, she has been associated with the education sector for the past 25 years and delivering the best value-based education to children to make them corporate ready and enable them to handle various challenges of society confidently. She has written 10+ books on Education Psychology, Philosophy and Teaching Methods and has published more than 50 Research Papers and Articles in National and International Journals. Apart from this, she has supervised PhD and has done MA, MEd and PhD as part of her education.

Which latest programs is your college planning to offer to students to help them stand apart from the crowd?
We are planning to offer an MA program in distance mode in collaboration with Vardhman Mahaveer Open University and RSCIT courses will also be offered soon to students. And all these courses will be aligned with the goals of National Education Policy 2020 which was recently introduced by the government and we firmly believe that these courses for sure will help students to stand apart from the crowd.
Which factors make the programs of your institute worth pursuing for students?
The best part of our courses is that they are delivered to students by an amazing team of highly qualified and experienced faculty members. And the curriculum of courses is developed keeping in mind the requirements of students and industry world, so our young minds get the best learning opportunities, experiences and exposure in our college and the content which we use to teach them is very easy to understand. So I believe all these factors together make the programs of our institute worth pursuing for students.
What would you say are the best practices of the courses your institute is offering to students?
Our college provides active des active learning opportunities to students as per their individual needs and our teachers use an amalgamation of different teaching techniques which they keep optimizing and modifying as per students grasping power and way of understanding. So our educational pedagogies, integrated curriculum and teachers' way of imparting knowledge to students are the best practices of courses that our college is offering to students.
What are some valuable insights of the programs that students are pursuing from your college?
RS-CIT certificate is a prerequisite for all computer jobs in Rajasthan. And our courses are especially beneficial for girls as various scholarships are offered by the government especially for them.

How do the programs of your college ensure the future preparedness of students?
Our courses are a perfect fit for students as they have the capability to improve teaching skills of our young minds and ambitious students and a diverse range of jobs will be available for them post successfully completing our courses and all of them are stable jobs with lucrative packages. Apart from this, students can pursue advanced Degree courses post their Diploma or Graduation.
Are you or your team facing any challenges in ensuring best quality education for students?
At present, our college is offering many UG and PG Courses along with Diploma programs such as D. El. Ed, a 4 year integrated B.Sc + B.Ed. and BA + B.Ed. courses followed by B.Ed. and M.Ed. programs. And we also have a research center in the education department to do research and innovation on latest technologies or teaching techniques. Hence for now we are not facing any challenges in delivering the best quality education to students.
How do you think education plays an important role in the growth of a nation?
I firmly believe that education plays a major role in the economic development of both developed and developing countries as it generates large scale revenues and employment is generated through this sector and it’s a common sense the an educated society will be more aware their duties, rights and they will be more eager to make a brightful future for them and their upcoming generations.
What challenges have you faced while inculcating new programs in college's curriculum?
At present, higher education institutions find it difficult to get the NOC from recognized or Affiliated University and sometimes counselors also face challenges as far as the Organizational, Technological domains and learner engagement is concerned.
On what kinds of projects your students are currently working on under their respective courses?
Our students are working on a diverse range of mini and major projects and some of them are even doing the dissertation work in different fields which can help in strengthening our education system. And whenever they need my support and assistance to develop psychological tools, I am always there to help and guide them.

What benefits and career options would be available for students after pursuing courses from your college?
As far as opportunities and career growth is concerned, students will have unlimited scope in the outside world post finishing our UG and PG Courses such as M.A.and most importantly they can easily get a job in educational institutions such as Schools and Colleges after developing required skills. And through our traditional courses, they will get deep knowledge of psychology, sociology and research which can help them in the learning process. Last but not the least, they can apply for various government jobs post completing our courses.
