What inspired you to pursue a career in this field?
I believe my purpose and drive have helped me pursue a career in this field. My goal was to achieve laurels and build a successful career in biochemistry. I am successfully working towards and achieving many things while contributing to society. I am proud to have been working at educating the students as per my students’ needs and requirements.
What are the biggest challenges Universities are facing today & how do you think your institution is addressing those challenges?
There are many challenges that the education sector is facing right now. One of the most important challenges is that the college is unable to provide updated facilities to the students due to a lack of funds. This, among other issues, can be solved by dedicated contributions from organisations, whether they are government or private. If they reach out to help in the sector accordingly, then there might be a change in society.
Being the Principal at NRIIPS What are your roles and responsibilities towards the students?
My primary roles and responsibilities are to look after the admissions process and the examinations, guiding and educating the students as per industry standards. Parallelly, I need to ensure classes are taking place according to the course structure. Apart from all these, I also have to look after the department functions and maintain the decorum of the department while also providing each facility with every help and support possible.

When you came to college, what was your vision and how are you trying to achieve the same?
I love challenges and I have come here to challenge myself, as my position allows. My vision is to provide the best possible knowledge to the students, which will help them achieve anything in their careers. I am working towards it by providing them with all the materials related to their education, future careers, their subjects and current affairs. I also try to give them life lessons that may impact their decisions related to their future.
What do you see as the college’s greatest strengths and how can it be enhanced?
Our college’s greatest strength is our relationship with the students, as students are the future of our nation. If we treat them as just students and teach them forcefully like in the old days, it may create hindrances and create a rift between the students and the teachers. However, if you become friends with them, it creates an impact through which students are able to enjoy learning. Our relationships with students remain intact, which is a major strength of our college.
What valuable advice would you like to the students for them to have a prosperous career ahead?
One valuable lesson I would like to teach the young generation is to get a thorough understanding of what you want to do for your career. Establish a proper routine for your daily life and find gaps to fill. Make changes in your life through which you can achieve your goals and better yourself.
