Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education will release the class 10th results in the last week of May or the first week of June.

New Delhi: The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) will announce the Class 10 results by the last week of May or the first week of June. Although there is no official confirmation of the dates but in 2023, the Class 10 results were declared on June 2, 2024, at 11 am. Once the results are released, candidates can check their results at the official portal, mahresult.nic.in.
Maharashtra SSC results analysis
Last year, 15,29,096 students appeared for the SSC exams across the state, with 14,34,898 qualifying. Among them:
- 5,26,210 students received a first class.
- 3,34,015 students received a second division.
- 85,298 students received a pass class.
The overall pass percentage for the Maharashtra SSC dropped last year to 93.83% from 96.94% in 2022. In 2022, results were declared on June 17, 2022. The pass percentage was significantly higher in 2021 at 99.95% due to the cancellation of exams and the implementation of alternative assessment criteria. In 2020, the pass percentage was 95.30%.
Historical pass percentages for the Maharashtra SSC are as follows:
- 2019: 77.1% with 16,77,267 registered students.
- 2018: 89.41%.
- 2017: 88.74%.
- 2016: 89.56%.
HSC Exam Results Summary
The Maharashtra Board released the Class 12 results on May 21, with an overall pass rate of 91.87%. Specifically:
- 93.37% of students passed the Maharashtra HSC exams under the fresh category.
- This represents a 2.12% increase from the previous year's pass rate of 91.25%.
For the HSC exams:
- 15,20,181 students registered, with 15,09,848 appearing and 13,87,135 passing.
- The pass rate for girls was 95.44%, while boys achieved 91.60%.
- The pass rate for physically challenged students was 94%.
Among the nine districts, the Konkan division had the highest pass rate at 97.51%, the Mumbai division had the lowest pass rate at 91.95% and twenty-six subjects achieved a 100% pass rate.
