Candidates have to secure minimum cut off marks in GATE for admission to ME/M.Tech program in IITs and NITs and other participating colleges. GATE Cutoff will vary from institute to institute. The cutoff marks determine whether the students get qualified or not for the exam. IIT Madras will release GATE Cut off, after the declaration of results.

  • This year, GATE 2020 will be conducted on February 1, 2, 8 and 9, 2020 in computer-based mode.
  • GATE 2020 Result will be announced on March 16, 2020 on the official website of GOAPS.
  • Candidates score equal or more than cut off marks are called for GATE Counselling.
  • Once the result is declared, all the participating Institutes will release their separate cut off.
