Textile engineering deals with the application of scientific and engineering principles to the design and control of all aspects of fiber, textile, and apparel processes, products, and machinery. GATE Textile Engineering and Fibre Science is one of the most challenging field and It is the primary field of engineering. GATE 2020 will be held from February 01, 02, 08 and 09, 2020.
GATE Syllabus for Textile Engineering and Fibre Science (TF) has been released by Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati and based on the topics studied at graduation level
- Textile Engineering and Fibre Science syllabus consist of two-part namely- Engineering Mathematics and Textile Engineering and Fibre Science.
- GATE Exam is held in online mode (Computer Based Test).
- The question paper consists of 65 questions worth 100 marks.
- Students have to attempt all the questions in the duration of 3 hours.
- The paper comprises two sections i.e. General Aptitude and Subject Specific.
