IIEST (Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology) Shibpur offers admissions to various streams of M.Tech through GATE. It is important to sit and qualify in GATE to get admission to their desired course. Those who qualify will then proceed to CCMT counselling process.

GATE is a qualifying exam to get admission to ME/M.Tech courses are conducted on a national level. It is conducted on a rotational basis by IITs every year. GATE Cut Off is released separately for each category. Factors affecting GATE Cut Off are:
