HPU Recruitment through GATE 2020:- Haryana Power Utilities or HPU is inviting applications for recruitment of entry-level positions in 39 Public Sector Undertakings across the nation. The selection of candidates is done on the basis of GATE Score only. There are no further rounds of selection. GATE 2020 will be held on February 1, 2, 8 & 9, 2020 through online mode. 

  • GATE Result 2020 will be announced by IIT Madras on March 16, 2020 at official portal of GOAPS.
  • The application forms for HPU recruitment through 2020 will be available in the month of August.
  • Shortlisted candidates on the basis of their performance of GATE 2020 are considered for recruitment process. 
  • Eligible candidates will be directly recruited as Assistant Engineer/ Electrical Cadre and Assistant Engineer/ Civil Cadre. 

GATE or Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering is a national level entrance exam organized by IITs on rotational basis. It is conducted for admission to M.Tech/ Ph.D. and other Government Scholarships/Assistantships in the field of engineering and technology. GATE is also a gateway of various PSUs.
