Step 1 Registration and Application Form Submission

• Candidates need to register by providing personal and academic details along with their GATE 2024 registration number.

The selection process for PGCIL recruitment through GATE 2024 involves various stages:

• Shortlisting: Candidates will be shortlisted based on their GATE 2024 scores. The list of shortlisted candidates and further schedule will be published on the PGCIL website.
• Further Rounds: Shortlisted candidates will participate in Group Discussions (GD) and Personal Interviews (PI) to assess knowledge, skills, attitude, and aptitude.
• Shortlisting for GD/PI: Candidates will be shortlisted category-wise for GD/PI based on their normalized GATE 2024 marks out of 100 in the corresponding paper. Language preference (Hindi/English) is available for GD/Interview.

PGCIL offers an attractive package with other benefits as follows:

• Selected candidates will undergo a one-year training period and receive a lucrative salary package ranging from INR 40,000 to INR 1,40,000
• Upon successful completion of the training, candidates will be employed as engineers with a package range of INR 50,000 to INR 1,60,000
• Compensation and benefits, including the Cost to Company (CTC), may differ depending on the place of posting and the terms of appointment.
• The approximate CTC package will cover components such as Basic Pay, Dearness Allowance, Perquisites, and Allowances following a cafeteria approach.
• It will also include Performance-Related Pay, Company Leased Accommodation/Quarters, or House Rent Allowance (HRA), reimbursement for monthly conveyance expenses, provision of a mobile facility, and more.
• The CTC will be calculated on an annual basis.
