CBSE Class 11th English Exam Preparation Tips

Unlike other exams, languages, especially English, requires students to be very descriptive about their attempt in answering the questions. For this, the student needs to have a good understanding and knowledge of the text being taught in the classroom. Most part of the English exam is about visualizing and elaboration of ideas.

Below we share a few helpful tips that can guide you with your preparation for CBSE Class 11th English Exam.

  • Syllabus: What makes the English exam tough is not the questions that are asked but the vast syllabus to be covered. Skim through the syllabus to get an idea of the chapters you are thorough with and require little effort to prepare for.
  • Textbook: Stick to your textbooks, solve question-answers with reference to the chapter text. This will give you an insight on the chapter itself and you’ll be able to solve any questions from any part of the chapter.
  • Work on Grammar: Grammar is another important part of the English exam. A good grammar will make sure you don’t miss on those tiny yet significant marks.
  • Practice: Practice solving as many question papers as you can. This will give you the exam temperament and boost your writing speed while being descriptive at the same time.
  • Relax: Covering a vast syllabus can be overwhelming, don’t forget to take short intervals to release the tension.
