Eligibility Criteria
- Students who appeared for the CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2026 in February–March 2026.
- Must be enrolled in a CBSE-affiliated school.
- Eligible for Compartment Exam if:
- Failed in one or two subjects.
- Were absent in one or more subjects.
- Students failing in more than 2 subjects must repeat the year.

How to Apply (Process for Schools)
- Log in to cbse.gov.in using school credentials.
- Navigate to 'LOC Submission for Class XII Second Board Exam 2026'.
- Enter details of eligible students.
- Pay the examination fee online.
- Submit LOC before the deadline.
- Download the confirmation receipt.

Important Notes

- Only the theory paper needs to be re-appeared; internal assessment marks from the main exam are carried forward.
