BSE Class 11th Hindi Syllabus

CBSE Class 11th Hindi Syllabus will include the Prose and Poetry from the Prescribed textbooks Aroh and Vitan. Chapters from Aroh will carry a total of 15 marks and Vitan will carry a total of 5 marks making the literature section of CBSE Class 11th Hindi Exam of 20 marks in total.

CBSE Class 11th Hindi Paper Pattern

CBSE Class 11th Hindi exam will be conducted for 40 marks with additional 10 marks for project work, making a total of 50 marks for evaluation. There are two sections in the question paper:

  • Formal and Creative Writing Section:

For a total of 20 marks, this section will consist of 4 questions each for 5 marks with respective sub-parts.

  • Literature Section:

This section will consist of 3 questions for a total of 20 marks which may include up to 7 sub questions. The 2 questions will be from the Main textbook; one from poetry and other from prose while the 3rd question will be asked from the supplementary reader.
