Ques. 1 Is the syllabus of CBSE and the syllabus devised by NCERT same?

Ans. The syllabus of CBSE is derived from the syllabus devised by NCERT only. So most of the units/chapters are the same in both the syllabi.

Ques. 2 Is it necessary to refer to NCERT Solutions of class 11? 

Ans. Students need to try solving the questions by themselves, unless they have tried all the possible methods and processes, still the question remains unsolved, then only they are supposed to have a look at the solutions for that particular question. 

Ques. 3 Are there any major changes incorporated by CBSE in the syllabus?

Ans. Yes CBSE has decided to reduce the syllabus for all of its subjects by 30%.

Ques.4 What is the minimum criteria for passing CBSE Exams?

Ans. Students must obtain more than 33% in order to pass in their board exams.

Ques. 5 Is NCERT sufficient for scoring good marks in the board exams?

Ans. The CBSE Board Exam is based entirely on the NCERTs, but in order to score very good marks, students are supposed to solve questions from reference books also.
