Tuition Deposit for International Students
New international students must pay a CAD 3,000 (≈₹1.95 Lakh) tuition deposit when confirming their offer at Humber. This payment is mandatory for Humber to request the Provincial Attestation Letter (PAL), which is required for a Canadian study permit. The deposit is partially refundable; CAD 1,500 (₹97,500) can be refunded if the student withdraws before the 10th day of classes. The full deposit is adjusted against first-year tuition fees.
Tuition Deposit for Returning International Students
Returning international students must pay a mandatory CAD 2,000 (₹1.3 Lakh) tuition deposit each term by the specified deadline. This amount is non-refundable and is required to secure course registration for the upcoming term. As per updated Ministry guidelines effective February 3, 2025, the deposit amount was revised from CAD 1,500 to CAD 2,000 (₹97,500-₹1,30,000) to meet PAL-related requirements.

To apply, I submitted a CV, Statement of Purpose (SoP), provisional degree of graduation, 12th degree, marksheets, no backlog certificate, and character certificate. Some courses also required an audition video. My CV highlighted relevant experiences and Extra curricular, while my SoP articulated my academic and career goals. Also, submitted LORS as additional thing but was not required. It is top ranked and reputed among colleges in Canada and was located in Toronto. My program is the one want to base my career on. I am trying to get into Data Analytics or data science, with the skills my course, Business Insights and Analytics, taught me. My experience at Humber College, particularly in the Business Analytics program, was mixed. The campus, Lakeshore, offered scenic views as it is located beside the lake. Despite a vibrant campus life with frequent events, the lack of placements was disappointing. The program's practical focus was valuable, but the syllabus felt brief and included unnecessary subjects. Additionally, the high fees compared to other colleges made it less worthwhile. It is 22000CAD and is not worth the cost.

It was good going back for post graduation as a student but along with the pressure of studies and completing assignments, coupled with working a part time job and managing day to day life , becomes very hectic.

- My sibling studied in humber in the same course and she told me all the pros of studying in HUMBER .The chances if getting in a well reputed company increases if you have completed study from a good college .
- The teachers were so professional and the best thing was their way of teaching. They will never get tired if you keep on asking questions again and again. Also, tutors were available for us to do some extra in academics.
Dislikes
- I was not able to get classes according to my schedule.I was not able to select more than 2 classes in a day. I used to work along with my studies but unfortunately I got to take a class on Saturday which was not at all I wanted.
My experience at Humber college was beyond my expectations. I made a lot of good friends and I was blesses with the best teachers who helped me overall in my personal growth and development. You can email the teachers anytime and they will reach to solve your query in the best of their time. My teachers also told me that feel free to reach me even after the course is completed.
My other two real siblings were part of Humber and they always appreciated what the college had to offer. Both of them were able to secure reasonably good jobs after completing their respective programs. On the other hand, it didn't make sense to spend absurd amounts of money on a university degree whereas I can learn the same skillset here and apply it in practical work-life settings before Degree holders. The last reason was how Humber has a really strong business administration program
I researched and found it best. I had searched about at least 30 colleges and compared their fee structure, their distance from where I was going to live and the cost of travelling. I also compared the courses these colleges offered and I found Humber college the best alternative. This college offered so many courses and the Business school in Humber is very famous and the graduates from Humber college are very much preferred by employers. I love business and want to study professionally about it.
