Ans. Biotechnology at MNNIT Allahabad is really good in comparison to other NITs. You can get placed here if you have potential, and core companies have started coming for campus placements. However, I suggest you choose Biotechnology only if you have an interest in research, as it is a field focused on that. Additionally, at MNNIT, you have the option to slide your branch in the first year if your CPI is above 7.5, allowing you to opt for your desired branch, but you will need to work hard in the first year. Honestly, I suggest MNNIT is the better option.Read more

Electrical Engineering at IIT (BHU) has a well-documented and strong placement record, with high placement rates (81–86%) and top packages reaching up to ?1.68 crore per annum (in B.Tech overall, with Electrical also benefitting from high offers). The Max CTC for Electronics Engineering is ?50 LPA for 2024–2025, which is less than the highest mentioned for Electrical. However, placement details for Electronics Engineering are less commonly recorded. This might, however, represent a single offer or a particular position rather than the branch's highest or average overall. Both branches are highly sought after and have strong industry connections, but Electrical Engineering currently has more publicly available and impressive placement statistics.Read more

Affordable Fees : As a government institution, IIT BHU has much lower fees compared to BITS Pilani, which is a private institution. This makes IIT BHU more affordable for students. High Return on Investment (ROI): Due to its lower fees and excellent placements,  IIT BHU has a higher ROI. Students of IIT BHU invest comparatively less money in their education, but they receive high-paying jobs after graduation.
