Aarupadai Veedu Medical College Pondicherry Course Admission 2026: Dates, Fees, Eligibility, Application Process, Selection Criteria

Aarupadai Veedu Medical College offers full-time MBBS with an intake of 100 students. Candidates who have passed 10+2 and have 50% marks in English and 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together are eligible for admission.

Admission to MBBS is done on the basis of valid score in NEET UG. 78 Students are selected on the basis of marks obtained in NEET and the remaining 22 students are selected through the merit list sponsored by CENTAC.

Key Points:

• The minimum age of the candidates should be 17 years at the time of admission.
• Candidates who have pre-Professional / pre-medical examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology, after passing the Higher Secondary School Examination are also eligible to take admission in AVMC.
• SC/ ST and OBC candidates must have at least 40% marks in English and 40% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together in 10+2 to be eligible.

At the PG level, the college offers MD, MS & Diploma courses in various specializations. Candidates must have an MBBS degree and should have obtained permanent Registration as medical practitioners with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or any of the State Medical Councils are eligible to take admission in the courses.

Admission to MD, MS and Diploma courses is based on the valid score in NEET PG.
